Vintage Postcard Urn Containing the Heart of Louis XVII Saint-Denis France
This postcard shows the urn said to hold the heart of Louis XVII, the son of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. He died in captivity at the Temple prison during the French Revolution in 1795. His heart was preserved and later placed in the Basilica of Saint-Denis, resting among France’s royal memorials. The card captures a poignant symbol of lost monarchy and tragic royal history.
